5) Relative links (app, media feedbacks, reports etc)

6) Analysis on business competitors

The stainless steel, duplex and nickel alloy pipes and tubes produced by Nobilis Pipe are used in very demanding applications where high temperature and/or corrosion resistance are paramount. Due to a shift in national priorities and investment direction, much of this capacity that was previously in the United States has been divested and shifted overseas. Many NATO countries and including Japan and South Korea now produce this capacity and export to the United States market.

The longer lead times associated with overseas logistics and the current economic climate are creating an opportunity for a new domestic mill to bring this capability back to the United States and protect national interests in energy, defense and other critical industries.

Due to the high value of the material grades produced at Nobilis relative to normal carbon steel, the revenue generated can support higher wages on a reasonable production volume and contribute significantly to the US GDP.

All materials will be melted and manufactured in-house. Pipes and tubes produced at Nobilis will be capable of meeting a variety of industry specifications including but not limited to: DFARS, ASTM, ASME, AMS, API, PED

6,Project value analysis and issues that need to be addressed by incubation:

1) What problems does the project plan to solve in the field where the project is located? What is the purpose?

Nobilis Pipe aims to become one of the first entirely carbon neutral steel production facilities in the world. We will accomplish this by investing up front in every technology to conserve energy spent and reduce consumption. Nobilis will streamline every part of the production process to reduce waste, recycle any waste that is generated, or clean it before releasing it outside the facility (such as water, for example).

The team developing the concept for Nobilis Pipe is committed to creating an iconic production facility that showcases the latest environmental technologies, while adding value to highly technical industries in the United States and throughout the world.

2) What are the fundamental differences between existing related products or services?

From a funding perspective the differences between Village Green Global’s solution in comparison to an investor funded or ESCO model is that repayments are made from energy savings, the money from institutional investors is fully ensured. Meaning in the event the project does not fully mature to completion the money borrowed will be returned to the lender.

From a Manufacturing perspective Nobilis is a pipe mill designed from the ground up to run on 100% renewable and alternative energy sources. The newest technologies implemented in each piece of equipment in the lineup run on the lowest energy requirements and Nobilis will continue to improve on this through ongoing energy efficiency research and development initiatives with a team dedicated to this purpose. Charging stations for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles will be plentiful at both the production facility and the corporate offices, and all employees will have access to programs designed to encourage and incentivize sustainable lifestyles. Plans will be developed to help share Nobilis Pipe’s success and lessons learned in the sustainability and responsible consumption areas with other production mills through presentations at industry trade shows and other such opportunities to interact with peer companies.

3) How many job opportunities are the project expected to create? (f)

Approximately 400-500 direct jobs

4) What kind of social value can the project create? What method is used to create such value?

The project is adding 50,000 tons of incremental new stainless steel pipe capacity in the US that will be produced in a net zero carbon footprint. The project will create value by paying well over the standard for each job category, and allocating a larger than average percentage of net profits to ongoing energy efficiency and environmental research and development, and developing new alloys for high tech end use applications.

5)Is there any solution to the environmental problems involved in the project and how to implement environmental protection?

The protection of the local environment is one of the core principles in developing this project. All activities will be based on worlds best practices for sustainable development

6)What basic raw materials are involved in the product or service?

Nobilis will have its own melt shop, the raw material input for this facility will be scrap and virgin alloys. The management team has already formed relationships with a major scrap dealer in the Midwest and will have full sourcing agreement in place well before launching production to ensure a stable supply. Scrap will usually account for between 20-40% of each charge depending on the material grade being produced.

The company will not have issue in procuring enough quantity of scrap needed to run operations. For virgin alloys, the suppliers are part of the London Metal Exchange (LME) and supply is not an issue. The management team has been consulting with an individual on an ongoing basis who will likely be hired to direct procurement for the company.

Scrap and raw alloy materials will be stored inside the building to avoid any leeching of heavy metals into the local water table. After production is ramped up, as many as 16-20 trucks per day will drop off their raw materials in the scrap bay, which is separated from the rest of the melt shop to avoid contamination of the molten materials and to protect our workforce.

Suppliers are selected based on their ability to meet demand, but also based on their sustainable business practices. Scrap is washed prior to delivery, and raw material alloys are sourced only from countries with responsible human rights records.

7) Are the various types of raw materials required for the development of the project compliant and legal, and can it effectively guarantee continuous supply? Yes

8) Is there a solution for the production, processing, procurement, transportation, storage and management of raw materials? Yes
